As one of our first-ever customers (years ago!), we were over the moon when Neen requested a custom straw bag with her beloved cats embroidered!
Neen was previously delighted with her purchase of the Kakatua bag! She brought it along on her vacation and was extremely pleased. She even shared some photos of her adventures with the bag. Neen remarked on its spaciousness and durability—she's absolutely love it!

And now, she's so delighted that she wants another bag, but this time, she has a special request to make it even more memorable and unique.
She mentioned that she would love to have a bag with her three kitties' embroideries.
Considering the information given, her preferences, and the fact that Neen leads a busy professional life in Dubai with its constant summer heat, we opted for seagrass material. It is lightweight and extremely durable, making it ideal for creating a spacious design that can easily hold her necessities, like a laptop.
And, here are some highlights about the kitties:
Mini, a Himalayan kitty with a heart of white fluff and a touch of mischief in her brown-shaded face.
Then there's Thistle, a handsome fellow with a coat of the softest grey. He's perhaps a bit of a dreamer with a fluffy tail that seems to wag with every thought.
And finally, there's Lily, Thistle's sister, a beauty in pure white. She's a playful spirit with a tail that swishes like a feather duster, always ready for a game of chase.
These three adorable furry babies each have their unique charm, we understand why Neen wanted to capture their essence.

We noted all the points and presented our initial draft to Neen, depicting three precious babies sitting together, with the one in the center facing forward to highlight the face; in this case, we chose Mini's brown fur.
At SE.DU.DO, one of our main challenges with custom orders is finding the perfect balance between highlighting individual personalities and creating a one-of-a-kind creative representation. Also, handmade products have their limitations because it's tricky to replicate the digital effects seen in mass-produced items, which can be easily created by machines.

We presented several sketches and are thrilled that Neen chose the one we also thought was the cutest! It doesn't show the face, but rather their tails!
After making a few minor adjustments, the design was sent to our artisans. They allowed a week for the fiber to dry, then wove it onto a specific mold and meticulously hand-stitched it. We added a protective cotton inner lining to prevent scratches and finished it with a secure drawstring closure.
Overall, the process was very smooth, thanks to Neen's clear and understanding guidance, which we greatly appreciated.

Thanks loads, Neen, for the opportunity!
We are very lucky to find a client like you, with all your positive words and especially your energy! ❤️
